Transsion Wallet × Allied Bank Interactive prototypes · Jul 2026
NFC card binding & tap-to-pay (UnionPay) is already live between us — this proposal builds on it

Three ways Allied Bank lives inside Transsion Wallet

Transsion holds ~40% of Pakistan's smartphone market, and most of those owners are not yet Allied Bank customers. With the wallet pre-installed on every phone and system-level entry points across the OS — the power key, Contacts, the camera — Transsion is well placed to help ABL win the next wave of digital banking customers.

We propose three directions: account binding for Raast transfers, QR payments & bills, cards — extending our live NFC rails to co-brand issuing and SoftPOS — and device financing secured by the phone itself. Every journey completes inside the Transsion Wallet container, with Allied Bank's services embedded as H5 behind a one-time SSO link.

Account Binding

System-level entry points

Bind the ABL account via SSO, then trigger payments from entries no standalone app can reach — the power key, system Contacts, and the camera.

Card & NFC

From tap-to-pay to co-brand issuing

ABL card tokenization and tap-to-pay already run in the wallet. Next: issue a Transsion × ABL card in-wallet, and turn every NFC phone into a POS terminal.

What Allied Bank gains
New-to-bank customers — digital account opening from ~40% of the country's smartphones, at near-zero acquisition cost.
Card activation & everyday spend — a tokenized ABL card one tap from daily phone use, plus co-brand issuance volume.
Raast & acquiring volume — P2P, merchant QR from every camera, and SoftPOS acceptance settling to ABL, no terminal hardware.
What Transsion gains
A licensed bank behind every flow — ABL holds licences, funds and credit risk; Transsion never touches money.
Wallet MAU & retention — transfers, bills and tap-to-pay give the pre-installed wallet a daily reason to open.
A funding partner for device sales — ABL-financed installments move more phones through 50,000+ retail points.
Container-First
Most Transsion users never installed a banking app — serving them through embedded ABL H5 inside the wallet converts far better than a download.
Powered by Allied Bank
Allied Bank holds the licences and the funds; Transsion is the distribution & technology partner. Every partner surface is visibly ABL-branded.
Scores + Device Lock
Transsion shares model outputs (Device Score), never raw data; Device Lock turns unsecured lending into asset-backed lending.
